In the following chapter, we present the tasks of the State Chancellery and the ministries. The top political representatives are the Minister-President as well as the respective ministers of state. The state secretaries are the departmental heads of the State Chancellery and the ministries. In addition to these, the Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs has a further state secretary in the State Representation in Berlin.
