“Turning Innovation into Resilience: Energy, Technology, Infrastructure”
The head of government of the Republic of Latvia, Evika Silina, opened the German-Latvian Business Day together with Minister President Manuela Schwesig. Both sides emphasized their common goals of strengthening economic power in the democratic Baltic Sea region and creating and securing jobs. Both countries see great potential in the areas of strategic technologies, offshore wind energy, and digitization in particular.
With over 300 participants, the German-Latvian Business Day was organized by the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in close cooperation with the Latvian Embassy, the state's chambers of industry and commerce, and the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce.
